Breeders we’ve worked with:
Bella Bulldogges Both Hooper and Captain Quint were bred by Sue
Royalty Leavitt Bulldogs Captain Quint sired a litter out of Royalty’s Onyx and I got to help Stacey through the breeding and whelping process.
Trainers we love and have worked with:
Canine Aspirations We’ve worked with Jennifer McKay regularly for sport training. Rally Obedience, K-9 Fit and Agility. She’s flexible and understanding of ‘non-traditional’ obedience dogs. The boys really love her (as do I)
Dirigo Working Dogs Danielle got us started with our Weight Pull journey! I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that she has introduced a bigger variety of dog breed to the sport of weight pull than anyone else. Certainly in New England. I have no real facts on that, but I don’t think I’m wrong either! She’s also a vet tech and understands dogs with behavioral issues. Even if you never want to compete, she will work with you on enriching your dog’s life.
Next Level Dogs Jay Jack and company are based out of Portland, Maine. if you have any sort of bully breed or dog with lots of drive, or dog with aggression or behavioral issues, he’s the man. He’s even created a new dog sport! He’s great at breaking things down and has fabulous analogies. His motto is: Play as the Way. And we love that!
Dog Sports & Clubs we love
GRC Dog Sports Dog sport started by Jay Jack. Tests social responsibility and includes drive sports like Weight Pull, Wall Climb, Spring Pole and Mill racing.
BosTug GRC Crüe Massachusetts, USA based GRC club we’ve started! Come check out a practice or an event!
Toys and Chews and Supplements Oh My!
Nutra-9 We met Dan and Kelly from Nutra-9 when Hooper was just a pup and we went to check out a disc dog event! This big guy came running over to us out of nowhere with excitement in his eyes and said, ‘Is that a Leavitt Bulldog??’. If you own one, you know this doesn’t happen often. Beyond that, they have an awesome dog supply company and are local to us. They own bulldogs and let them test all the toys and chews and only sell stuff they believe in and have researched. I’ve had Hooper on VG-750 since he was a year old for prevention of joint issues, we LOVE their Cheeky rolls and chews and Dan and Kelly are always super helpful!
